As a result of the Covid pandemic closures, our Rotary club, like most other groups,  was unable to meet for several weeks.  Although we met virtually, there were no meals to be shared.   Members came  up with the idea to donate the money that would have been spent on their meals to the club.   It was then decided the funds would  be used in the local community.   We named our action “Second Helping” to reflect our paying forward to the community.

On Wednesday, August 26th, members of the Westhampton Rotary Club delivered salads and heroes to the 125 “heroes” working at the Westhampton Care Center.  Many thanks to Hurricane Deli for giving Rotary a generous discount.

The Club also brought dinner to the hard-working members of the Westhampton Ambulance crew during their monthly meeting earlier in the week.
